Agility 3a/3b

Agility 3a - You and your dog will begin to learn handling skills and verbal cues using cones, low jumps/bumps, and tunnels. Dogs will learn to balance handler and obstacle focus, grow directional skills and begin contact zone performance on the flat. Contact obstacles, the teeter will be introduced at a low height. Agility 3b - Teams will grow and proof skills learned in Agility 3a, adding new directional cues and handling skills in 3-4 obstacle sequences. Grow (2) weave pole performance from all positions. Dogs will be Introduced to half height dogwalk and AFrame with end contact performance. Teams will grow their teeter performance, including end behavior. Teams will begin performance of rear crosses with cones and/or winged jumps or tunnel using predictive positional and verbal cues Teams will learn to handle 3-4 obstacle sequences with front cross, rear cross, pivot turns and tight turns (loop-loop and rye-rye. Teams will learn verbals for tight turns after jumps, regardless of handler position, both sides.
