Competition Obedience

Let experienced and successful Dog Obedience competitors give you the knowledge and skills to begin training your dog for AKC Obedience Competition. 2 sessions on Saturdays of 2 1/2 hours each on Nov 21 & Dec 5. The objective of these modules is to get dog teams started toward their AKC Obedience Beginning Novice and Novice titles. . The emphasis will be on creating a working relationship with your dog by marking and rewarding performance using positive reinforcements. Dogs will begin to understand heel and front positions and the handlers will learn heeling footwork that will aid their dogs. Future sessions will include the sit/stand for exam, full ring length recalls, group sits/downs and fine tuning heeling.
