Agility 1

Introduction to agility

Prerequisites:
Your dog must be at least six months old and must have completed a multi week Basic Obedience or Performance Puppy/Dog class within the past 6 months or have the instructor’s permission. Your dog must be able to obey your cues to sit, lie down, stay, and come.

Building on agility 1

Prerequisites:
Your dog must be at least 8 months old and have successfully completed Agility 1 Foundations within the last six months

For those beginning agility 3 classes

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite: Your dog must be at least 10 months old and have successfully completed Agility 2 Foundations within the last 6 months or have permission from the instructor.

Agility 3b

Dog puts all the skills learned in A1 and A2 to use with longer sequences that reguire more learned skills. Dog will progress to being comfortable on full height contact equipment.

Prerequisite: Your dog must be at least 1 year old and have successfully completed Agility 3a within the last 6 months or have permission from the instructor.

Builidng on agility 3 and learning 6 weave poles

Prerequisites:
Your dog must have successfully completed Agility 3 within the last six months.

Prepare you and your dog for Novice Agility competition

Prerequisites:
Your dog must be able to do all obstacles independently including six weave poles from both sides.

For dogs competing in agility trials

For dogs competing in Open, Excellent or Masters at agility trials

Prerequisites:
This class is for teams that are already competing in Open, Excellent or Masters. Your dog must be able to do 12 weave poles from either side.
